All the bragging about Tmobile in the 3rd world went to not. We had NO service all afternoon. We white people are called blanc in Haiti. That simply means white… in my case it is very true head to foot. You all, we are very blessed here in Nan wo. This past July we added […]

Good morning America!
I’m sure of it; my early morning walk found NO Starbucks out here… Saturday morning Market Day in Dessalines, the world is alive with people making their way from their farms to the big city to sell there products and buy or trade for what they might need. Morning starts well before 1st light here. […]
Dreams are good…
It’s so great to be here with my friend Paster Louinet. This man is a man of vision. Sometimes his vision makes Dixie crazy, “Louinet how will we pay for this?” “Don’t worry, Dixie, it’s not a problem, I’ll pay for it.” The big gate was one of his surprises for Dixie. He was correct, […]

Louinet was called about 3 am last night saying a mother and her two daughters a mile down the road had just fallen over and died. He called two men from the church and they quickly went down to pray for them. The women had risen early to start a fire and cook food to […]
