UPDATE 4
The team had a very busy day!
Part of the group spent the day helping Dixie document the info for the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade kids. They took photos of each child as well.
The guys on the team spent the day working alongside some of the Haitian men getting posts and trus frames up for future classrooms.
Some of the gals took time to teach a handful of people how to weave, using backstrap looms. This was a HUGE hit! The people loved it!
The group also took time later in the day to hike to Verendieu’s house. Verendieu is the school superintendent in Kawo and he was very proud to be able to show off his house and property.
Tony said everyone is tired. With the early mornings and long days and sleeping in tents, it’s no wonder.
Continue to pray for them. I know they are encouraged, knowing that you are back here in the States praying for them on a daily basis. Having been to Haiti last month, knowing that we had people praying for us regularly, it truly blessed us so much and we saw God work. “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” -James 5:16b
Please, continue to uphold these guys in your prayers!!
Continue to pray for stamina and strength for each one as they work LONG, tiring days
Pray for grace, joy, and unity when the heat and weariness sets in
Pray for a productive day today and a good time bonding with the folks in Kawo as they seek to bless them in various ways
Pray that GOD is honored and blessed by the hearts and lives of the team as well as His people in Kawo
In Christ,
Grace, on behalf of the Hope in Haiti team
“This was the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes!”
-Ps. 118:23
