Dear friends,
We arrived back to our homes late Wednesday night last week. I know that when I fell into bed I had been up for 23 hours making my way home. Thank you so much for your prayers. We definitely felt covered in prayer and are so thankful for each one of you.
We took pictures of over 500 children in the Nan wo school. As I look back over the pictures I pray for them and am so thankful to be a part of this work. I watch them grow over the years and develop into young adults. Did I mention that this was the best team ever? I’m so grateful for others coming alongside to help in this work. Hope in Haiti is touching the lives of many people. Pastor Louinet called and asked that I greet each team member in the name of Jesus and thank them for their service.
When we went to Savanne Brule for the day we had made up 103 bags with small gifts for the children, not knowing how many would be there on a Saturday. We had two bags left over and were able to give out T-shirts to all and even some to others in the community. It was worth all the walking, fording streams and muddy shoes.
Pastor Aaron Day spoke in the Haitian church on Sunday on Psalm 23. What a beautiful message he gave from God’s word, filled with encouragement and love!
Thank you, thank you. Please continue to pray for the country of Haiti as they face much hardship and opposition.
“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” Proverbs 14:34
