Noah’s story, and other blessing

Baby Noah

Noah Bartholomew is part of our team from Renton, WA.  I actually met Noah many years ago when he was a very small child, maybe 28 years ago or so.  He is a triplet and has two sisters, was adopted, and was raised near Issaquah, WA.  This is his third trip back to Haiti and he has met his extended faimly on previous trips.  We went to visit Ebeneezer Glenn Orphanage and he had his picture taken with Don and Doris Peavy, the original founders of the orphanage.  What a surprise it was for them when he walked in….!  Doris found his picture as a baby.  In this picture you see another set of triplets holding Noah and his sisters.  I know this has been a trip with lots of reflection for him as he knows how different his life would have been if he had not been adopted.  It is always amazing to me to see how the coarse on one’s life can be altered by God’s hand.

Today was also a blessing getting to see sweet little Loudjina! We are so grateful for the caring people watching over her.

We finish Kid’s Camp today and it was very sweet.  Several children came up to me and thanked me.  We all feel that it was a great success with only a few hiccups.  But then there will always be hiccups here in Haiti.  What a fantastic team this is!  Later today we will walk into the town of Dessalines.  Tomorrow we hope to do some painting.

Thank you again for your prayers.
