Dear Faithful Friends,

We are leaving for Haiti today! Monday 11/6! This will be the kind of trip we like to call a “parade of smiles”… talking one on one with every single child you are helping reach through Hope in Haiti, and taking home photos and important information for our sponsors. 

 

We would love for you to follow our daily by either signing up on our website or on Facebook.  This year there are 593 students so we have lots of work ahead of us getting them all updated. Many of you have helped in the past and understand the hugeness of this project.  Thank you always for your support and prayers.  Each of our team members thanks you. Pray for them by name…

What’s ahead:
11/06/17 – Meet in Seattle for a late-night flight across the USA. 

11/07/17 – Lay over in Miami and then land in Port au Prince, Haiti. As soon as possible, drive 4+ hours to Nan wo in central Haiti  

11/08/17 – Preparation day: unpacking adjusting, getting things ready for the next day of interviews and picture taking; visiting Ebeneezer Glen Orphanage, and visiting homes of some of the school children.

11/09/17 through 11/11/17 –  Start about 8 AM taking pictures, giving out gifts, and possibly even painting classrooms. You never know what will come up!

11/12/17 – Church in morning, then visiting orphanage or homes of children.

11/13/17 – Finish student update work, hand out remaining gifts, and finish other campus projects

11/14/15 – Possibly a trip to the beach, and then on to Port Au Prince. We will be staying at Maranatha Children’s Ministries with Byron and Shelley Tlucek

11/15/17 – Catch a mid-day flight from Port au Prince to New York, then arriving in Seattle after 9pm.
