The latest news from the front lines of the work of Hope in Haiti, live from Nan Wo and Marchand Desallines.
I spoke with Joel late last night while he was in the airport in Boston. The team is doing well but very tired. They will sleep in the airport and make their way home today. Here is the update as posted by Julianna from Global training Network.

“Praise the Lord! Joel and the team made it safely to New Jersey. And God is so precious and amazing..Joel got moved up to first classon 5 out of 6 flightsto and from on this trip to Haiti! That never has happened like this before! Num 6:25 speaks the blessing of God’s face shinning upon a people. This literally means; that God’s favor would be so evident that all the world would take notice and know it is the hand of God’s favor! I would say we all see this is God’s hand of favor through Jesus Christ!! Praise to You Jehovah God!
They are now flying to Boston, only an 1.5 hour flight. Then the 6 hourlayover in Boston. Please pray God’s will to be done regarding their flight to Seattle. God knows all thingsand does all things well, so we will commit all things into His care, in Jesus name. (Isa 46:10, Mark 7:37, Phil 4:6-7, 1 Peter 5:7)”

“Dear Warriors of Intercession;
There were no flight cancellations, so Joel and the team are on their flight home to Seattle right now! We are praising God for bringing Joel and the team home, and ask God for traveling mercies all the way home, in Jesus name.Ps 78:53says, He guided them safely, so they were unafraid;”and in Ps 107:29-31 ” He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.”We praise God for getting Joel and the team safely to Haiti and through Haiti and in all the flights thus far, and praise Him that He will indeed get each of them to their homes, into the arms of their loved ones, safe and sound in Jesus name!
Thank you all for your prayers for Joel and all these awesome servants of God who faithfully serve in advancing the Kingdom of God for the glory of God, in Jesus name!”
Thanks to all of you for remembering the team in your prayers. It has been a very new, impacting and interesting trip. I’m hoping to get a journal entry posted on the blog from one of the team members as soon as possible.
