Dear Prayer Partners;
Joel sent an e-mail update: “Isaac, Dixie and I arrived in Port Au Prince this afternoon. It is not as humid as my last trip in June. Praise the Lord! We are all doing really well. Dixie’s daughter Grace, son in-law Brandon, and friend Ashley arrived earlier. They will be working with the children and helping with the community outreach.
Today we visited the Maranatha Children’s Ministry home for Haitian children waiting to be adopted. It was a special treat to see these little ones who are in need of love and care. As I watched them I was reminded God is for the fatherless and He cares for those who’ve been abandoned. They are so valuable to Him!
We will be sharing a meal tonight in Port Au Prince, then go to bed. Our plan is to leave around 8am (5am PST) for Dessalines. It will be about a 4 hour drive.
Tomorrow night (Friday) we will be ministering at their community gathering and we’re expecting a large number of people to attend. Be praying. I will be sharing with them the message God put on my heart called, “Who is Jesus”. Pray the Holy Spirit draws them into a relationship with Christ. I will be giving an invitation. Saturday we will be training pastors and then Sunday we will be ministering in churches. It will be a busy time. We are excited about the opportunities here in Haiti. Thank you for praying for us!
Thanks for praying and fasting for our team! We are BELIEVING God for great things! Blessings to you!
Joel”
Right now, 2:20pm PST the team is driving to Dessalines. Please continue to pray, as Joel asked, for the people of Haiti who don’t have a relationship with Christ to be open to meeting Him and yielding to His love. I will update as we continue to recieve more informaiton.
In His Love, Tony
