We are all packed up and waiting for our ride to PAP. It’s been a good trip overall!
When we come back in January, I hope the school will be completely floated. Lhomme and Jean are running electric conduit in the school rooms for future electrical wires, lights, and plugs.
Today as we were waiting for our ride to PAP two young boys walk into the school yard hoping to be accepted by Pastor into our Nan wo school. It turned out they had been sent home from a different school due to no payment of their tuition. Life is tough here and Haiti doesn’t have public education like we have. Our Nan wo school is one of few that works hard to educate dispite lack of funds. Sad thing is we are full to capacity. Louinet had to turn the two young boys away.
We made it to the beach for a little R & R… see picture.
Dixie and I seem to spend a lot of time in airports. Each one is like a city unto there own….. you get to know the worker’s, short cuts here to there, etc. There is a certain electric feeling when a team leaves for Haiti and when we make our way home…. see pic of girls with school children before we left. What a life!
Our Team snug and off to Chicago. We hear its cold there…. we haven’t been out doors since PAP Haiti.
