Another successful day of camp is over!
Even more kids showed up today and Dixie said it was a bit chaotic but still good. A close friend and local guy, Lukman, has been an amazing and incredible help over the last several days with the camp. He’s great with kids and has done much to help keep order in the midst of the chaos. 🙂
The team’s afternoon consisted of planning for their final day of camp tomorrow and visiting more homes in the valley.
Dixie said the celebration service last night was loud and went long. That probably translates to less sleep and a tired group of Americans today! There have been lots of bugs and they are struggling to keep the rat population at bay in the guest house.
Pray for continued encouragement for our team as they face the challenges of exhaustion, heat, bugs and rats, and plenty more!
Pray for a good night of rest and a wonderful, meaningful last day of camp tomorrow for the team and kids alike.
Pray for all the beautiful people we work with, that in all things, we would point them to Jesus as our true Hope in Haiti.
For the whole team,
-Grace, on behalf of the Hope in Haiti board
