On Sunday July 8th, the award-winning Patty’s Egg Nest in Monroe opened their doors with a brand new look, not to mention a great cause. All over the restaurant, patrons could enjoy beautiful Haitian art on the walls, tables, and entryway. Posters described the sponsorship and volunteering work of Hope in Haiti and cards invited people to get involved. There were even representatives of Hope In Haiti on hand to answer questions and help raise awareness of the great needs and God’s work we are privileged to be involved with in central Haiti.
On top of all of that, after each mouthwatering meal, the staff of Patty’s donated their tips to HIH and even a percentage of the profits to our cause. Because of their amazing generosity, over $1000 was raised with tips, donations, and art purchases! Praise God! We are so grateful for Patty’s Egg Nest leading the way in supporting a grassroots organization like ourselves.
And thank you for coming to Patty’s this past Sunday. Hope to see you there again soon!
