4th Update…

by tony on November 13, 2011 1 Comment

Dixie texted last night.

Here are the updates:

It sounds like the interior of the church in Nan Wo has been repainted with help from the team.

There was a wonderful sitdown with Pastor Louinet and Robert to just talk and prepare him for his message delivery today.

Dixie also said they visited Belzina, the widow with six daughters whom we helped build a home for.

The team got the opportunity to travel north to Gonaive to visit the work of Dixie’s friends, Mike and Chris Leland who founded New Generation Ministries(http://www.newgenerationhaiti.org/). The drive must have been interesting because Dixie mentioned that Robert ‘enjoyed’ it very much. 🙂

In Dixie’s words, “Kendra is having a great time with the rats. Keep praying.”

Please keep up the prayers for safety and provision. Thank you!

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us;
and establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands.”

-Psalm 90:17

    Thank you again for sharing your journey. I am so excited how you continue to make progress in so many lives at such a fast pace. Seeing incredible ministries growing, meeting up with a widow and her girls in how they’re doing, painting, meeting with old friends..etc. Oh ..the stories we’ll hear upon your return. And not to mention those lives you’ve touched forever through your touch, your smiles, hugs, prayers, service and words. God bless you and keep you in His tender loving care. Nancy

    Romans 8:28
    And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

    Ephesians 6:16
    Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
