Hope in Haiti was able to contribute a bit of money recently to help with a community foot bridge. The stream that all people and animals have to pass through on foot to get into town is very slippery. Many have fallen and some have even broken limbs. The people of Nan Wo took it on themselves to build a small bridge over the stream to avoid such accidents. They began building but ran out of money and were forced to stop the project. Because we want to support their willingness and initiative to take on such things for the sake of their community, we asked if we could help too. The people were absolutely thrilled and hopefully by the time the next team heads back, the bridge will be complete!
